About Tetra
Tetra Digital Group is a Canadian financial technology company bringing together qualified digital asset custody and onchain Canadian-dollar payments. Through Tetra Trust and CADD, we’re building the infrastructure that connects digital assets with the broader financial system.
Tetra Trust was founded in 2019 in response to the collapse of QuadrigaCX and the need for a regulated Canadian custodian purpose-built to safeguard digital assets.
In 2021, Tetra Trust became Canada’s first trust company licensed to custody digital assets, establishing a foundation of trust, security and regulatory oversight for Canada’s growing digital asset market.
Today, Tetra Digital Group is building on that foundation to strengthen how digital assets are held and how Canadian-dollar value moves. Through Tetra Trust, we provide qualified digital asset custody. Through CADD, Canada’s digital dollar, we bring Canadian-dollar payments and settlement onchain.
